Range Rover’s reputation is legendary, but launching the all-new Sport demanded a fresh way to prove its capabilities. MotorTrend set out to show what the Range Rover Sport can really do by tapping into the mindset of aspirational prospects who push their own limits. The result was a premium, three-part content series built around extreme, real-world challenges designed to spotlight the Sport’s core DNA: performance, luxury, and unequaled capability.
Each episode in the “DRIVEN” series strategically paired the Range Rover Sport with standout competitors and placed them in extraordinary locations. From the frozen fjords of Finland, to the tightest hairpins on the Tour de France, to the world’s most infamous corkscrew racetrack turn, champion drivers and elite athletes pushed the vehicle to its limits while sharing the personal ambitions that fuel their pursuit of excellence. Through their stories, the Sport naturally evolved from a capable SUV into a symbol of aspiration and high performance, making the content feel both authentic and relatable.
By blending cinematic scenery, friendly competition, and human-driven storytelling, the series positioned the Range Rover Sport as more than a luxury SUV, becoming an expression of drive, mastery, and ambition. This approach created a deep emotional connection with performance-minded enthusiasts who recognized their own commitment to excellence reflected in the campaign’s challenges and the drivers’ stories.
